Petz walked through the drug store she was wearing a green dress underneath a white lab coat when she noticed a woman with short blond hair walk into the Drugstore. Petz’s part time job after working for a Vaccine company developing cures for common and some more serious aliments.
“You look like you can use some help, I know a thing or two about medicines, my name is Petz.”
“You work here?” Haruka had asked before she looked up and saw the woman wearing the white lab coat. She chuckled at her error. “Well, I guess you do. I was wondering if I could get some recommendations for things that deal with muscle strains and cramps.” Haruka had a cheap solution in her hands at the moment, one that she normally got but she was willing to try something different. “I have to keep in good shape for a living and it would be great to have something that would get me back on the track quicker. And maybe one that doesn’t smell so bad? I’m Haruka, by the way. Haruka Tenoh.”
“My name is Petzite Ayakashi, you can just call me Petz. I may specialize in viruses but muscle cramps and strains that’s an easy cure” Petz looked at the woman and had to conceal a slight smile. People of this time era were still using rubs and topical solutions to their muscle problems.
She then looked through the shelf. While looking through the shelf she remembered the name from somewhere and said straight forward “You wouldn’t happen to be the up and coming track star at the local High School?”
She then saw a few of her medicines was still being manufactured and looked at Haruka and pulled out two medications. “I have just the product for you. Preferably before you hit the track inhale this once and it will reduce the chances of another muscle injury” She held up the other medication “This one is for aftercare just one tablet is all you need.”
“It’s an honor to meet you then, Petz.” Haruka smiled charmingly and watched the woman go through each medicine, seemingly looking for a specific kind. “Track star?” She had to smile at the memories that brought about. “If you would have asked me that a few years ago, I would have said yes. I don’t run track anymore. Quit before I graduated.” It was to pay more time to her previous Mission with Michiru but that wasn’t worth mentioning.
Haruka took both medicines into her hands and examined them. “An inhalant? That’s new.” She looked at both but trusted the woman’s judgement for now. She seemed knowledgeable enough. “And the aftercare would sure help. That’s when I have the most problem.
“Wait, Ayakashi, right? Then…do you know a Berthier?”
She smiled
“Of course I know Berthier, she is my younger sister. She may be younger than myself but she has an intelligence that makes up and surpasses my own. How do you know her?”
Petz looked at the clerk behind the counter and said “I’ll cover the cost of this medication”
